Currently, only users with logins can follow articles for updates, which is useful for internal only facing content. As we also have a public facing knowledge base which does not require login, ability for customers to follow articles in the same fashion is essential.

Following a entire category for new articles posted to that specific category would be most beneficial for our users (instead of updates to specific articles)

Additional Note: We also had this request by customers on our KB, however it should allow for fine control to avoid "Spam" on each new version, as sometimes updates are pushed just to correct smaller typos and mistakes.

When publishing as author, a "Notify Watchers" toggle (default: off) should be implemented here.

This is a good idea. Maybe an email notification each time an article is updated or something.
