Currently, Helpjuice uses underscores (_) in the language codes of knowledge base URLs (e.g., /en_US/, /pt_BR/). However, using hyphens (-) instead is considered best practice for SEO, as search engines treat hyphens as word separators, improving readability and ranking potential.
We would like to request:
An option to use hyphens in language codes (e.g., /en-us/ instead of /en_US/).
Automatic 301 redirects from old URLs with underscores to the new hyphenated versions to preserve SEO value and prevent broken links.
This update would help improve search engine visibility while maintaining a smooth user experience.
