For articles with Private status, the current situation is (I am administrator):
Unfortunately,
- it is not visible in the article list that this article is private, i.e. has access restrictions.
- the article is not visible for non-authorized persons, but the authorized persons cannot see that this particular article is accessible only for them.
- it is only possible to see who is authorized to access the article in the opened article in the "Access Level / Access Authorization" area.
- only the author's icon is displayed in the article list, no icons of the access authorized persons are shown.
- both internal and private articles have the lock icon, a clear distinction is not possible.
- no icon can be added to the article as it is possible for the folders / categories.
- there is no "Status" icon in the editing area on the right that shows the access rights when clicked.
Do restricted articles need to be kept in a list outside Helpjuice to keep an overview?

You could create a category that contains all of your Private articles as a solution/potential workaround.

Cliff Hobbs: Thanks for your answer :-). I have a private category where I edit my articles. When I move the articles in an internal or public category, the access remains private. Unfortunately I forget this more often, because I also write many internal and public articles in internal and public directories. I myself see the private articles as internal, so I don't notice it. Of course I adjust my workflow, but an icon would be helpful :-)

Gabi Reinhard: Be good if when you configured a category, you had the option to set it so that any child categories or articles automatically inherited the visibility of the top-level category.
E.g. I create a category called "All" with "Public" accessibility (visible to all). If I move a Private article under here, it automatically inherits the "Public" from the parent category without me having to change anything.
I guess the wider question, is how often do people need to have the category set to one level and for an article within that category to have a different access level?
Personally, I don't mix. I do the restricting at the Category level, not the Article level (and maybe that's the way it should be - do away with restricting at an article level, inherit from the category containing the article).
Discuss... ;-)
Gabi Reinhard
Cliff Hobbs: I thought about that too, in our company it is mixed. But I see this as a separate point that should be discussed on its own.
This feature request is only about an icon which shows that an article or category is private.
