Customized FROM email for User Import
closed
Matt Asher
Having the invitation email coming from "@helpjuice.com" works fine, but some organizations will flag External emails that go directly to Spam/junk/other folders. If I could customize the FROM address, to be that of the Admin user's profile adding the users (import or individual) then it would go to my business users from within the organization.
Thank you for the consideration.

We have a similar issue with helpjuice and 'auto' emailing (eg. notification article has changed, email from emil@helpjuice.com or invitation mail...).
The problem: from address cannot be customized and has either '@helpjuice.com' in it or is 'emil@helpjuice.com' in combination with the fact that helpjuice is know internally only by IT and the rest of the company knows it as "the knowledge center" makes our helpjuice users think that they are getting spammed or even fished (fishing mail).
If we could change from to 'name@ourdomain.com', this would be much more professional and less confusing. Also it would then be possible to have people reply to the recieved email and getting the reply to the correct people.

completely agree! This would be really useful since we are "white labeling" helpjuice. For most of our users they don't know we are using helpjuice.

Agreed. It is confusing to our users to see the "@helpjuice.com" welcome email, as they have no idea who HelpJuice is. They only know that they're expecting an invitation from my company (which is not mentioned in the email address). Having the email look like it's coming from my company would be ideal for our site's users.

Our organization has a need for this as well. We have been sending users a "heads up" pre-invitation email to let them know the invitation email will come from an @helpjuice.com email address so they know the email is legitimate and not spam.
We have run into this issue several times where an invitation email is sent to a user's spam, or sometimes even blocked entirely because of security settings. We need to loop in HelpJuice support to get users backdoor access to setting up their user accounts.
It would be a much better experience for our clients - especially our financial and government clients who have more strict email security settings - to have the invitation email come from our domain.

Hey Emil: I think this is different from Company to company. The main thing is to let the admin customize the email. So if somebody will keep @helpjuice.com it s fine. But somebody else should surely be able use another email.

Problem with this is, most emails will be going to spam because we claim they're coming from "x@y.com" but it's being sent by "helpjuice.com"
We are happy to give it more thought
