Customize the email for Followed Articles
Meagan Alexander
Currently, when a user receives a notification about article edits, the email shows a preview of some changes (with red indicating removed text and green indicating new additions). However, when clicking the "View All Changes" link, the full revision comparison isn’t automatically shown.
Instead, the user is redirected to the article, where they’ll need to:
- Open the Revisions drop-down (on the top right side),
- Select an earlier version,
- Then click “Compare with Current Revision” to view the full diff.
While the revision comparison is quite powerful, it does require those manual steps after clicking the link in the email, which is not the most intuitive experience and limits the effectiveness of the emails for followed articles.

At the very least, allow us to customize the email sender. It currently comes from emil@helpjuice.com which means nothing to my users. I should be able to change that to something that relates to my own company without revealing the platform we host our KB on. I'm really shocked that this is how it works with no ability to change it.

@emil-hajricIf you increase the follow functionality (author, article, category) like we are experiencing in helpjuice (which is super good!) we NEED to be brand and customize the Email notifications, like we do for the invitation mail

@emil-hajricil Yeah! I also proposed the same CST request...maybe we can merge both
