Categories to Populate as Search Result

My vote for this as well. We also often try to link to entire categories via @ and having to do so manually via the slug URL is tedious and error prone (broken links check).

Strongly recommend it, since it's already implemented in the backend. Would be great if there's a way to turn it on and off.

No, excepy if it is possible to disble it. If you merge categories to artciels it breaks our API.

To add to this, It would also be great to have the option to suppress specific articles from showing in the search results if you would like the entire category to be the "result" (i.e. 1 category contains 6 articles, but they are all one topic, have only the category come up in search, but not each of the 6 articles).

Absolutely! All of the knowledge base technologies I've researched so far have made this possible in one way or another.

Simon Heide: agree, and several we have worked with have all come with this option standard, without customization

Yes, thank you. I think this is also due to the fact that other platforms also understand the category page itself as an article - then it will of course be found quite normally. and with this structure also enable you to edit the category page yourself. For us this is usually a separate start page for the topic of the category. we want to do that manually. I have already submitted a feature request for this: https://helpjuice.canny.io/feature-requests/p/category-page-editable-like-an-article
Please support this too! ;)
