Ability to add 301 redirects (redirect old KB)
complete

Our old knowledge base contained many more articles which we chose not to bring across to the helpjuice platform. However, our SEO took a dip as a result and it was disappointing not being able to pass on that link juice to another location. Suggest adding a from-to set of input fields with an easy ability to see current, active redirects for the project. I've attached a rudimentary concept for what a beta of the feature could look like.

Is there any update on this?
When a redirect is added in HelpJuice - either manually, or when an article is deleted, it's happening as a "302 Temporary" redirect instead of a "301 Permanent" redirect.
This is incorrect and hurtful to the SEO health of our articles, because in reality, it's NOT a 302 Temporary redirect. The original URL is gone, will never come back, and will permanently redirect to the new URL...aka, a 301 Permanent URL.
I don’t know how I can explain this more clearly, so I’m sharing an article on exactly this topic from AHREFs, a leading SEO tool. The information they share here on when a 301 redirect and when a 302 redirect should be used is exactly what I’m referring to. https://ahrefs.com/blog/301-vs-302-redirects/
Part of the issue here is that it's not even like we have the control to choose which type a redirect should be in the Redirects menu in HelpJuice. Were this to be the case, we’d simply edit each redirect to make it a 301 redirect ourselves and stop bothering you to fix your platform. It's like someone just arbitrarily decided that every redirect here in Helpjuice should be a 302 for no good reason?
This is a large issue, and we can’t ignore this. If we can’t get this resolved, we’ll be forced to cancel our HelpJuice account, as we can’t sacrifice the health of our 250+ well-ranked support articles because this platform can’t correctly follow standard/basic SEO practices. Really hoping that you'll listen to feedback from your users.

I'd question the "Complete" status on this? This wasn't the case as of last month - redirects were 302 redirects. We had to push for this over and over again for our Zendesk URLS to be 301 redirects instead of 302 redirects before signing up for HelpJuice - and this was just changed (corrected) last month.
However, this isn't happening for other redirects in the Article Redirects area - those are still 302 redirects.
The redirect area in Helpjuice literally says: "Redirect From -
It must be a non-existent URL". So, why would a non-existent URL be a 302 temporary redirect, and not a 301 permanent redirect? This makes no sense.

Benjamin James Kippax Wow. I really like this idea. How frequently would you imagine using this feature? Only during setup/launch phase, right?
Benjamin James Kippax
Emil Hajric: not necessarily. It could be used to create hot links. Eg, domain.com/easy redirects to a longer, complicated url which wouldn’t make much sense in marketing.
