I just brought this up in the "help" chat which I am assuming is nothing more than a bot. The only thing it suggested was to upvote here. I'm guessing they aren't actually concerned about listening to customers since this issue was brought up over a year ago and should be a easy fix. Yet here we are.

Please refer to the bug "New Editor: Cell and table properties - functions not accessible" dated December 2022:

Since the properties cannot be clicked, one is forced to go into the source code to insert code for new cells or to delete code to remove cells. This is very time consuming, also because the source code is no longer color coded.

This has been an issue for a while, always have to scroll up for the table properties
