Have Internal Sections of Public Article
complete
Derek Armesto
"My request is the ability to designate let's say half a page into internal, and then the other portion as public or private. The idea is that we wouldn't have to maintain multiple pages. A tab system instead might work well too. In example say you are a visitor and visit a public page. You would only see that public page, however, if someone who has an account that is internal visits the same page. They see both pages internal, and public. "

This feature is complete and live on your account!
It can be accessed via the Helpjuice Article toolbar. Have fun :-)

Almost done! We're just fine-tuning the design. We build out the feature, then we play with it, and realize it's not perfect enough, so we got back to design, and keep tweaking.
We'll have it live by next week -- we really want to deliver a really solid feature for you folks.
If you want to help, we'd love some beta user feedback. Just drop your subdomain in the comment OR via emil@helpjuice.com

We've begun working on this. So far, you will only be able to make an internal callout to INTERNAL users - not specific groups, just fyi.

Emil Hajric: INTERNAL is definitely ‘good enough’ for us
Emil Hajric
On a scale of 1-10, if we implemented this, how big of an impact would it have for your org?
Giuseppe Stirpe
Emil Hajric: 7
Dave Ingram
Emil Hajric: 9 for us. We used this regularly in a prior CMS.
Derek Armesto
Emil Hajric: I'd say a 7 out of 10 if done bare bones. If done methodically it could be easily a 10.
Erin Casto
Emil Hajric: 9 for our organization. This is something our internal stakeholders have been asking for.

We're thinking of implementing this next, fyi

+1 We had this in a previous system and it is perfect to add additional info on an external article for sales/support etc. Right now we have to first add the external article (that's fairly easy from the editor) and then add comments to it. Doable, but having it all in the one view is better.
Emil Hajric
Kris Meulemans: Would you imagine it looking/being used like a call out?
E.g. like the current Alert callouts, you could add an internal-only call out..
Kris Meulemans
Emil Hajric: That would definitely be a good way of implementing it and keep it all in the same view.

Emil Hajric: Hi Emil, is there any update on this one? I see it went back to "Open" after you had marked as "Planned", but was wondering if it's something you're considering in the near future? Would really help with content maintenance! :) Thank you!!
Emil Hajric
Patricia DallAstra: As of now, we have not started development or planning on this feature.

PLEASE! I like the idea of just being able to insert something like an "Internal" Div or one that we could assign to certain users, Such as "Users 1 and 2 can see this information"
Cliff Hobbs
Andrea Addison: Agreed - I should just be able to insert a block like I currently can for the "Alert Block". In fact, why not just add an "Internal Only" block to this toolbar?
Andrea Addison
Cliff Hobbs: That would be PERFECT!
